Drug trafficking Sam Jones III faces 20 years behind bars

Published: December 18, 2020

Actor Sam Jones III, best known for playing Peter Ross of the television series Smallville, has a possible 20-year prison sentence looming over him for his involvement in several major drug deals.

The 27 year old, who pleaded guilty to drug charges on Thursday, was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency for drug trafficking last year in October.

According to court documents, Jones was the “Hollywood connection” in a conspiracy to sell over 10,000 Oxycodon pills, also known as ‘hillybilly heroin’.

The actor, who played Craig Shilo in the series Blue Mountain State, also made headlines a while back when a sex tape with his girlfriend, former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon, was released.

Read here about former teen icon Lief Garrett, who was arrested on drug charges earlier this year.
