Michael Jackson death officially ruled a homicide by coroner

Published: August 29, 2020

The coroner ruled that Michael Jackson’s cause of death was a mixture of medication. “The drugs propofol and lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death,” a news release issued on Friday by the coroner said. “Other drugs detected were: midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine.”

The press release stated that Jackson died of an “acute propofol intoxication”, however also stated the other drugs also had a contributing factor. Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson’s physician at the center of the investigation, has previously admitted in an affidavit that he gave Jackson the three anti-anxiety drugs midazolam, diazepam and lorazepam in a bid to help Jackson with insomnia.

He had been treating the singer for six weeks with propofol, which he attempted to wean him off with the mix of anti-anxiety medication in a bid to save him from an addiction. After injecting Jackson with the lethal injection containing propofol, Dr. Murray claims he went to the bathroom to relieve himself, after which he returned to find the star no longer breathing.

Michael Jackson, who was allegedly addicted to prescription medication and was reported to have harmed himself to obtain some, was pronounced dead on June 25, 2009.

Now his family are spending $1,500 to have Michael’s sperm – which he deposited at a Los Angeles sperm bank last year – flown to a London clinic to keep it protected from individuals who may want to use it to create a new heir to his fortune. According to a close friend of the family, Michael reportedly wanted to use the sperm to conceive a fourth child.

Britain’s Daily Mirror quoted a source as saying: “It might sound crazy but when it comes to Michael anything is possible. With everything that’s at stake the last thing the Jackson family need is someone using his sperm to give birth to a child and produce another potential heir to Michael’s estate.

“The family know Michael authorised a number of people to access this sperm sample. The problem is they don’t know who has access and given that a number of doctors have been implicated in his death then something sinister could easily happen.”
