Taylor Armstrong and husband sued for $1.5 million

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong and her estranged husband have been sued for $1.5 million for breach of contract.
According to MyMedicalRecords.com in the lawsuit filed Friday in L.A. Superior Court, it is alleged that the couple took more than $1 million from people misled into thinking they were investing in the company.
The couple are accused by the news provider of misusing the money to fund a lavish lifestyle, which includes paying for an interior decorator to do up their mansion.
Russell Armstrong’s attorney Ronald Richards told People magazine: “My client has done nothing wrong and this complaint is a desperate attempt by a company whose stock is trading at four cents. These types of penalty lawsuits amount to nothing but legal blackmail.”
Armstrong filed for divorce from her husband earlier in the month after alleging that he verbally and physically abused her after months of trying to save the marriage.
“It was a difficult decision but I have decided to file for divorce from Russell,” Armstrong told People in an exclusive statement. “Although we have tried our best to work out our differences, I have come to the conclusion that it is in the best interest of our family that we separate.”

“They’ve gone through therapy and they have issues within their marriage that they’re actively working on,” a source close to the star told People at the time. “They’re both really committed to making their marriage work.”
