Jack Nicholson - does he have ADHD?

Published: February 23, 2021

Jack Nicholson is a true inspiration for all those who want to accomplish great things in their lives despite suffering fromADHD. Though there is no concrete evidence that shows that Jack suffers from ADHD, it is strongly assumed due to behavioral traits.

Jack had a confused childhood wherein he was unaware about his biological parents; he had no clue that his sister was actually his mother. He was quite disturbed by this disclosure in his life. Jack did his schooling from Manasquan High School where he was known as the ‘class clown’ because of his activities and the ability to make people laugh around him. It is believed that Jack Nicholson had ADHD but there are no confirmed reports on this.

Talking about his school days, associatedcontent.com quotes Jack Nicholson as having once said: “In my last year of school, I was voted Class Optimist and Class Pessimist. Looking back, I realize I was only half right.”

Jack, who has always been considered one of Hollywood’s bad boys, had dated a strew of women, including Lara Flynn Boyle, who was more than 30 years his junior. A strong-minded man, Jack is also known for doing what he wants.

Some of his acting credits include ‘The Shining’, ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ (for which he won the Oscar for best actor), ‘A Few Good Men’ and ‘As Good As It Gets’. The 72-year-old has been nominated for Academy Awards 12 times, and has won three Oscars in total.

Jack Nicholson is also a smoker.

Other celebrities who have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD include Will SmithMichael PhelpsJim Carreyand Jamie Oliver.
