Michael C. Hall defeats cancer

Earlier this year we reported the shocking news that ‘Dexter’ actor Michael C. Hall was in treatment for and battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes.

Michael’s wife, Jennifer Carpenter, announced to the media after his fight, he has finally beaten cancer. Jennifer, who plays Michael’s sister on ‘Dexter’, also praised her husband for being so brave and going public with his health issue.

“[He is] fully recovered,” Parade.com quotes her as saying. Michael reportedly continued treatment (including chemotherapy) after his cancer went into remission, and is cured of the disease.

He is reportedly starting work on a new season of ‘Dexter’.

Billionaire business man of Microsoft fame, Paul Allen, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Other celebrities recently diagnosed with cancer include Dennis Hopper, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Melanie Griffith, who had skin cancer removed from her face.
