The ‘Delhi Belly’ brat Imran Khan, reportedly, turned a cameraman for his upcoming film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar in lead roles.

Apparently, while shooting one of Katrina’s song and dance sequences in the film, Imran was asked to shoot the actress from the audience.

The actor’s recording impressed the filmmakers so much that they asked Imran to head the remaining three days shooting of the song also.

Talking about the affair, a source close to the film unit said, “Imran was given a HD 5 camera to play around with in the song. He was supposed to shoot Katrina from the audience. While the main camera captured all of it from a long shot.

“However, on the edit table, the filmmakers realised that Imran’s footage was really good. And so they retained most of it in the final edit. in fact, the remaining three days of the shoot was directed by Imran himself.”

After graduation, I worked as a camera operator in U.S.-Imran
Speaking about his camera handling skills, the ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ actor Imran Khan disclosed that after completing his graduation, he worked as a camera operator in U.S. and thus, he had an experience of handling cameras.

When the moviemakers didn’t axe Imran’s shots while editing, the actor, who was least expecting it, was in the seventh heaven.

Expressing his joy, Imran said, “Surely, I wasn’t expecting the filmmakers to retain the whole thing. But I surely hoped that one of the shots would be kept since I had shot it. But it was a pleasant surprise to find out that it will be my version that you will see in the film.”

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ is slated for a Sep. 9 release.

Imran urges youth to cast votes during elections
With Independence Day around the corner, the young actor Imran Khan does his bit as a responsible citizen of India by urging the youth to cast votes during elections if they want a better India.

“We often write off the government, blame politicians and assume nothing will change. But the truth is what is it that we do to make sure things change! How many youngsters cast their vote? That day is just considered as another holiday.

“I have attended various awareness campaigns in Bandra where we plead the youngsters to come ahead and vote. In spite of that the turnout is poor,” voiced Imran.
