According to a new report published in www.popeater.com, the death of Martin Short’s wife was probably worsened by malfunctioning of an oxygen tank. Nancy Dolman died on Saturday when she was preset with Short in their Los Angeles home.

A 911 call was made before she passed away at the age of 58. In the call, a woman said that Dolman was not able to breathe and is bed-ridden. The woman was worried and said that she needed an ambulance urgently as Dolman was going to die as she was on oxygen and the gauge of the oxygen tank was not working.

The woman was assured that the ambulance was on the way and she should try and save Dolman with the help of CPR till then, says the report in www.radaronline.com. The woman told the operator that Dolman was able to talk to her and was awake. There were a lot of people around her when she took her last breath.  Dolman had cancer that was diagnosed in the year 2007.

Short has been nominated for this year’s Emmy awards for his role in Damages but he will not be attending the awards that are to take place on Sunday evening due to the sad demise of her beloved wife.

Other celebrities who have recently passed away include Dennis Hopper, Gary Coleman and Rue McClanahan.
