Ashley Turton killed in car blaze

Published: January 11, 2021

News has emerged this morning that Washington energy lobbyist and former Capitol Hill aide Ashley Turton, 37, was horrifically killed on Monday. She was trapped inside a burning BMW, believed to be her own car, which was parked inside the partially burned garage at her Capitol Hill home.

The mother of three and wife of White House Aide, Daniel Turton, was found in the burned wreck of the car. The fire must have started very quickly for her not to get out of the vehicle and there will undoubtedly be questions as to how it happened; more pressingly whether foul play was involved or not.

Mrs. Turton’s death echoes the shocking murder of Tucson millionaire and real estate developer Gary Triano, who was killed by a car bomb in 1996. His ex-wife, Pamela Phillips was implicated in the investigation after the bombing on November 1st, 1996. The device was placed in his car where it exploded outside the Westin La Paloma Country Club.

Ashley Turton, 37, was a respected community member who worked in support of her husband.

Fire crews and police responded quickly to 911 calls made by neighbours in the early hours of the morning, but by the time they arrived Ashley Turton was dead. It wasn’t until the flames had been extinguished that fire personnel found Turton’s body and according to reports on rollcall.com, the vehicle was still on fire inside the garage when the first response team arrived.

Police are yet to determine the cuase of the blaze which claimed Ashley Turton’s life, but they have said that they will not rule anything out – even homicide.

Washington, D.C. was rocked over the weekend by the unfolding events in Tuscon, Arizona where Gabrielle Giffords was gravely injured, and six others were killed by a crazed gunman. Fierce debates have been raging for days between left and right wing followers as to Sarah Palin’s indirect involvement in the Tuscon shootings, with neither side able to see each other’s viewpoint.

The world of politics seems to be in turmoil at the moment, it pales in comparison to the pain Ashley Turton’s children, all under five years of age, and husband have woken up to this morning. While time will quickly erase the event from most people’s memories, her children’s scars will likely never disappear.

Do you think that Ashley Turton’s death was an accident or is there a reason someone might want her dead? Please share your thoughts by leaving a comment.

This is awful, and it doesn’t look like an accident. This really made me sick when I first read it yesterday. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

One only need read any one of the number of the whistle blower books to come down the pike over the past few decades to know that our government as well as our major corporations are all just a big hot bed of Mafia figures and activities…
it is a terrible and tragic story…but it is clearly no accident that this mother of three is dead… though it will likely be covered up to seem so…

If you begin looking at the connections and those in her life you start to see to many coincidences coming together.

    1) She was an aid in 2006 Rep. Rosa Delauro whos husband is a pollster and PR consultant for companies like GM, BP, Mosanto. Rosa Delauro sponsored bill HR875, food safety bill that recently passed.

    2) Same day of Ms. Turton’s death her employer ‘Progress Energy’ merges with ‘Duke Energy’ thus making them the nations largest utility. Also discovered, Progress is currently under investigation for ‘shorting’ stockholders. Soros in 6/2010 investments into Progress Energy.

    3) Delauro husband’s firm Greenberg, Quinlin, Rosner part of Democracy Corps - Clinton/Carville/Greenberg also did PR for Giffords if not mistaken. Also, provided home to Rhaum Emanuel rent free while in DC.

So someone tell me if there is more to this story…sure is a lot of connections with current news items. Particularly related to energy and legislation.

I’m a relative of Ashley. At the time this happened, what with Gifford’s shooting and all, I must admit that I, too, was suspicious. But Dan, Ashley’s husband, would never have let this sit if there was anything suspicious or untoward lurking underneath.

This is so sad and my sympathies to the family. Its like Im living in an alternative universe when I read this stuff. Im supposed to believe that pulling out of my garage could kill me? Or that any fire could start in my car and spread so quick that I couldnt get out? This is nuts and this, just one week after Mr Wheelers bazaar death? I can not let go of the that one! He knew something…dead birds still havent been explained…How convinient that his story is now buried under the Az story…no one even discusses the judge that was killed…Something is happening…doesnt anyone else feel it???

    Lynn,

You are right, I have been feeling it for two years. I wish I could convey to everyone to peer behind the ‘smoke’ and see those pulling the strings. It’s not our government..it’s even more sinister.

Strange, how could a fire start unless she was coming into the garage at 100 miles an hour. Was the husband or the children in the house at the time? I hope they do a good job of investigating.

Yes, reportedly they were in the house…a neighbor came to the door and woke the husband, she was leaving for work early and he had thought she had already left. truth is I don’t think she made it past the garage. I do not see how this could be an accident.

Ashley Turton didn’t make it past the garage, but somehow the police have decided that a BMW SUV struck a workbench with something flammable on it while pulling out of her garage. This started a flash fire so intense Mrs. Turton couldn’t even get out of her vehicle, which was immediately engulfed in flames so intense the entire blaze had to be put out before the firemen could even tell there was a body in the vehicle.

Although she hit the workbench hard enough to create the fire that destroyed her garage and SUV, the incident was not enough to cause her vehicle’s airbag to deploy.

The first news stories had police officers who implied there was something suspicious about this death. But it never became front page news, and was buried as quickly as her body. Just another “accident”.

Lots of accidents in DC lately….

I don’t have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It’s a depression. Everybody’s out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel’s worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there’s nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there’s no end to it. Famine and global starvation this stark realization of the harm scarcity does to nations. And so on and so on..

We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. And we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that’s the way it’s supposed to be! What do you expect when you take everything away from our fellow human kind? They steal and plunder to survive.

We all know things are bad — worse than bad — they’re crazy.

It’s like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don’t go out any more. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we’re living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, “Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials, and I won’t say anything. Just leave us alone.”

Well, I’m not going to leave you alone.

I want you to get mad!

I don’t want you to protest. I don’t want you to riot. I don’t want you to write to your Congressman, because I wouldn’t know what to tell you to write. I don’t know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Wars and the crime in the street.

All I know is that first, you’ve got to get mad.

You’ve gotta say, “I’m a human being, goddammit! My life has value!”

So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell,

    “I’m as mad as hell,

and I’m not going to take this anymore!!”
