Lindsay ‘Lilo’ Lohan is thrown in prison then bailed back out again

Published: April 23, 2020

Famous-for-being-famous ex-ginge Lindsay Lohan found herself back behind bars yesterday having stolen jewellery from a jewellers in LA, re-establishing herself as a bad girl and garnering more, yet more, give it to me, give it to me, delicious publicity to further her career as a ‘famous’.

Much like in most of the celebrity’s acting roles, Lilo demonstrated absolutely no discernible emotion as she was led away, with her lawyer promising that she would be appealing - and within just a few hours, the notorious child star was released after 75,000 bucks in bail was posted.

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to drinking in bars

The she-devil landed herself in the slammer after a decision by LA judge, Judge Sautner, who accused her of trying to get away with petty criminal offences because of her status and violating the conditions of her probation.

“I see intent here. I see a level of brazenness with ‘Let me see what I can get away with’,” said the judge.

The act breached Lohan’s probation from a previous drink/drive offense committed in 2007 and wound up with a 120-day holiday at the government’s pleasure. The 24-year-old talent vacuum has also been ordered to serve more than 400 hours community service, including 300 hours at a women’s centre, where she will be signing autographs and treated as if she were a princess during a royal visit.

Astonishingly, all this awfully unwanted publicity came in the same week that news that Lilo had signed two film deals including a biopic of John Giotti, where she will be cast as his wife. This new completely unsought publicity could actually serve to promote the films and create exposure for the project well in advance. Shocking.

In any other walk of life, having a criminal record would mar one’s reputation and make it exceptionally difficult to find employment. Not so if you are beautiful and famous. Which seems fair.

Lohan has acted in a number of dreadful films since 1998, for which she has won no awards.

She is often described as ‘troubled’, although if she weren’t a celebrity, the term ‘spoiled’, would probably be pertinent.

Famous people who have spent time in the slammer include Johnny Cash, 50 Cent, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Other people whose names we are familiar with who haven’t spent long enough incarcerated include Paris Hilton.

Top celebrities with ginger hair we’d like to see in prison include Geri Haliwell, Lindsay ‘Lilo’ Lohan and royally famous, Prince Harry.
