Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter split after three years

Actress Minka Kelly and baseball star Derek Jeter have called time on their three-year relationship, her rep told People.
“They care about each other and it was amicable,” says a source. “They’re still friends.”
31-year-old Kelly was often seen cheering for her now ex-boyfriend, 37, at New York Yankees games and was there when he got his 3,000th hit in July.
The pair, who have famously kept their relationship very private, got together in May 2008 and were rumoured to have become engaged earlier this year.
Kelly, who has starred in The Roommate alongside Leighton Meester, was voted Esquire’s sexiest woman alive last year. She is due to appear on a TV reboot of 70s classic Charlie’s Angels and recently began filming in Miami.
The new series is said to be a modern adaptation of the infamous story of three female private detectives – Charlie’s Angels – who meet when they are all employed by the same mysterious man.
Ramon Rodriguez, star of The Wire, iss et to play the role of Charlie’s assistant Bosley and the ABC project will be headed by Sony Pictures TV and Drew Barrymore’s production company, Flower Films.
Other couples who have recently announced their split include Latino singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony and Jeff Goldblum and his teeny girlfriend.
