David Arquette escapes car crash with minor injuries

It’s been a rollercoaster few months for David Arquette who has struggled through a divorce, been shamed by his sex revelations and had a stint in rehab to deal with his depression and related alcohol issues. Next thing, he opens his eyes and is lying dazed and confused on the side of the road, a wreckage of cars in front of him.
The actor was on his way to catch a plane to Las Vegas, where he was planning to help a friend open his restaurant, The Candy Store, when he had a head-on car collision in his silver Cadillac.
Moments later the ambulance arrived and the 39 year old was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. A spokesperson has since announced Arquette is “fine”, and according to reports he is only suffering from some minor head injuries.
In a message to his Twitter followers, he wrote: “Remember to wear your seatbelt-wish I was.”
“I got into a car accident but I’m fine. Luckily I have dragon’s blood running through my veins. Haha Thank you for all your concern.”
The actor also proudly tweeted that he refused all pain medication and that he is still sober.
